For Book Clubs

You’re Too Young to Understand is a memoir about growing up in a family shaped by mental illness, addiction, silence, trauma, resilience, and love. Liz Sjaastad writes with honesty and compassion about the complicated experience of trying to understand the people who raised us.

For book clubs, the memoir opens the door to meaningful conversations about family, mental health, forgiveness, stigma, caregiving, memory, and the stories we inherit.

Liz is available to join select book club conversations in person or virtually.
